First report about ants associated with Diaphorina citri Kuwayama in Mexican lime (Citrus aurantiifolia Swingle) in the Apatzingán Valley, Michoacán, México

Objective: To carry out taxonomic studies that determine which formicine species are associated with the cultivation of Mexican lime.
 Design/Methodology/Approach: The study was conducted in eight municipalities and 59 localities Apatzingán Valley region, Michoacán, Mexico, where lime (Citrus aurantiifolia Swingle) is produced. A randomized complete blocks design used experiment, each municipality represented a block. repetitions were number collections, while experimental unit sprout infested Diaphorina citri ants. collections direct made an entomological aspirator. values obtained analyzed SAS University Edition software (2018).
 Results: studied ants belong to Dolichoderinae, Formicinae, Myrmicinae, Pseudomyrmecinae, Ponerinae subfamilies, represent 15 genera same species. subfamilies greatest presence were: Formicinae. highest impact Paratrechina longicornis, Forelius mccooki, Atta mexicana, Cardiocondyla minutior Odontomachus sp. had lower impact.
 Study limitations/implications: Social insecurity new form coexistence.
 Findings/Conclusions: prefer dry, warm, disturbed sites
